How often should gutters be cleaned?
At least once a year — ideally in autumn once the leaves are down. Homes near trees may need it twice a year.
Can you repair my gutter or does it need replacing?
Leaking joints and loose brackets are usually a simple repair. If the gutters are old and brittle throughout, replacement is better value.
Do you fix the fascia behind the gutter too?
Yes — we often find rotten fascia behind failing gutters, and we can renew the roofline at the same time for a lasting fix.
What causes damp on my wall?
Very often it’s an overflowing or leaking gutter above. Sorting the guttering usually stops the damp at source.
